Ozan Kabak has signed a contract extension with TSG Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga club announced on Tuesday.
The 26-year-old centre-back's contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, now runs until the summer of 2031.
According to Sky Germany, the new deal includes a release clause worth €25 million.
“I’m absolutely delighted that, despite numerous other offers, Ozan has made a conscious decision to stay the course with us at TSG Hoffenheim. This sends a strong signal,” said sporting managing director Andreas Schicker.
“Ozan fought his way back after his serious injury and has shown again this season that he is a central pillar of our team. With his strength in one-on-one situations, power, goal-scoring threat, and outstanding mentality, he brings qualities that we need.”
Kabak, who joined Hoffenheim from Schalke 04 in 2022, commented:
“I feel very much at home in Hoffenheim and see the sporting potential to continue growing together. TSG have placed great trust in me, supported me even during my long injury, and always believed in me. I look forward to continuing to be part of the club’s development and want to achieve our ambitious goals together with the club.”
