After their 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund this afternoon, Hamburger SV coach Merlin Polzin praised his side during his press conference.

"The lads put in a tremendous performance, because Dortmund showed great quality today. We had few chances with the ball, but at the same time, there were always little moments that gave us hope.

“In the end, we were able to pin them back for stretches – and with Ransi's [Königsdörffer] goal, football once again wrote its own story. We're delighted with the result,” he beamed.

HSV club captain and marauding left wing-back Miro Muheim went into detail about the result and how his side have a chance to rest and prepare for the return.

“It's an incredibly awesome feeling to have scored the equalizer so late. It was a really tough game, but we rose to the challenge and defended everything solidly.

“Now it's time to take a breather and build on this performance after the international break,” the Swiss defender explained.
