Ole Werner gives injury update on Raum and Lukeba ahead of RB Leipzig's trip to Leverkusen

RB Leipzig coach Ole Werner has given an injury update on David Raum and Castello Lukeba after the duo missed last week’s 3-1 win over 1. FC Union Berlin.

Providing a squad update on Thursday, Werner revealed that both players have returned to full training and therefore have a chance of being included in the squad for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash against Bayer Leverkusen.

However, a final decision on their availability will not be made until after Friday's training session.

"Except for Leo [Zingerle], [Ezechiel] Banzuzi and [Suleman] Sani, everyone else is at least an option for the squad. With Castello [Lukeba] and David [Raum], we will make the final decisions on how we can use them after tomorrow’s final training session," Werner said.

Leipzig sit third in the Bundesliga heading into Saturday’s game.
