Vincent Kompany made a few changes to his starting lineup in yesterday’s game in Hoffenheim. Kim Min-jae was one of those who used the opportunity admirably as the South Korean international impressed at the heart of Bayern’s defense.

However, Kim had to be substituted twenty minutes from time due to what seemed like pain in his left calf. According to Bild, on their return to Munich, Kim was examined to see the extent of the injury. Luckily, the results show that he only needs to adjust his burden in the next few days in training.

Therefore, the 28-year-old will already be an option to keep his place on Friday when Bayern host Werder Bremen. It’s a positive update for Kompany since the Rekordmeister are missing four defenders right now in Hiroki Ito, Josip Stanisic, Alphonso Davies and Raphael Guerreiro.
