A handful of clubs including Hamburger SV are interested in Linto Maina, Sport BILD can report.

The Koln winger’s deal expires in the summer and if the club can’t achieve promotion, Maina may look to move on for free.

In the Bundesliga, Maina has admirers from Mainz and Borussia Monchengladbach – both teams are hunting down the European places too.

Mainz are believed to be trying to bolster their squad depth, while Die Fohlen are longing for pace in attack.

The 25-year-old winger made a similar move when he joined from Hannover 96 just as Effzeh had qualified for the Conference League.
