Luis Díaz scored twice before being sent off for a sliding tackle on Achraf Hakimi, as Bayern Munich edged Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in Tuesday’s Champions League clash at the Parc des Princes.

On Wednesday, the Colombian international took to Instagram to reflect on the dramatic night and to send his best wishes to Hakimi, who had to come off with an ankle injury.

“It was a night full of emotions. Football always reminds us that in 90 minutes, anything can happen the best and the worst," Diaz wrote, adding:

"I was sad not to finish the match with my teammates, but proud of their incredible effort.

"Wishing Hakimi a quick return to the pitch.”
