Felix Nmecha has had a very bumpy start to life in Dortmund, but the 24-year-old won over his place with strong performances since last season’s Rückrunde. Despite a ligament injury keeping him out of action for a couple of months, Nmecha now becomes a concrete subject for a move to a Premier League giant.

Both ‘Bild’ and ‘Sky’ report Manchester United are looking at the option of signing him this summer for €48 million. With Dortmund reportedly willing to sell for a fee of €50 million, there seems to be no issue blocking the transfer if the player wants to join the Red Devils.

The German international will hope to return to action for Dortmund after the international break. He currently has a contract with BVB until 2028. Manchester United’s technical director Jason Wilcox knows the player from his time as Manchester City’s academy chief.

Like Dortmund in Bundesliga, Man United are currently languishing in the bottom half of the Premier League’s table. Sky’s reporter Patrick Berger mentions a deal would depend on Ruben Amorim’s side offloading a midfielder. Casemiro and Christian Eriksen are expected to leave the club in the summer.

Just like Jadon Sancho, the lanky midfielder was in Manchester City's youth ranks, alongside his older brother Lukas Nmecha. While many expected Lukas to make the big leap from Wolfsburg, it was Felix Nmecha who made a move from Volkswagen Arena to Signal Iduna for €30 million at the start of last season.
