Bayern Munich remain keen on VfB Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, but have yet to reach an agreement on a transfer fee with their Bundesliga rivals.

With talks at a standstill, Bild’s head of football, Christian Falk, reports that Bayern now face competition from the Premier League, with both Manchester United and Newcastle United expressing interest in the 23-year-old.

Both English clubs are in the market for a striker and have reportedly added Woltemade to their shortlist alongside RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. The club that misses out on Sesko could turn their focus to Woltemade.

Despite interest from abroad, Falk notes that Woltemade would prefer to remain in the Bundesliga and is still focused on a move to Bayern.

The German champions remain hopeful of finding a breakthrough in talks with Stuttgart and are currently applying pressure on the Swabians to formally open talks.
