Rolfes reacts to speculation surrounding Diaby's Leverkusen future

Bayer Leverkusen will try to hold on to Moussa Diaby.
Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes has reacted to speculation linking Moussa Diaby with a move away from the club.

"Moussa is an important building block. We want to grow as a team and a club," Rolfes told Kicker.

"We we will try to keep our best players," he continued.

L'Equipe recently reported that it would take an offer of around €100 to prize the French winger away from Leverkusen.

Diaby is under contract until 2025 and doesn't have a release clause.

The 22-year-old has scored 15 goals and provided nine assists in 31 games this season.
