Germany reveal squad for September fixtures

Julian Nagelsmann has named his Germany squad for the UEFA Nations League matches in September against Hungary and the Netherlands.

Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann has named his squad for the UEFA Natons League games against Hungary (7 September) and the Netherlands (10 September).

After announcing their international retirements after Euro 2024, Ilkay Gündogan, Manuel Neuer, Toni Kroos and Thomas Muller are naturally not in the squad.

Antonio Rüdiger is not in the squad, having agreed with Nagelsmann to take a break.

Meanwhile, VfB Stuttgart's Angelo Stiller has been handed his first call up to the team.

Germany's September squad:

Goalkeepers: Oliver Baumann (Hoffenheim), Alexander Nübel (Stuttgart), Marc-André ter Stegen (FC Barcelona)
