Frankfurt destroy Leipzig in statement win
Eintracht Frankfurt put on a show in their 4-0 win, as reeling RB Leipzig produced another head scratching, early-season performance. If he wasn't already, Domenico Tedesco is now under some serious pressure.

In the 16th minute, Kamada was able to get his goal from a Randal Kolo Muani header after Mario Gotze’s picture-perfect pass. But, Die Adler were just getting started.
Leipzig dug an even deeper hole for themselves when Sebastian Rode’s shot deflected off Willi Orban into the net for another goal in the 22nd minute. The goal-scorer was forced off a few minutes later with a knock and replaced by PSG newcomer Junior Dina Ebimbe.
It was an up-and-down battle, but Frankfurt were clearly the more creative side by a long shot in the first half. Kamada wreaked havoc on Leipzig’s defense and Domenico Tedesco’s side couldn’t find any answer to stop Kolo Muani. Eintracht’s 2-0 lead was well deserved, as Leipzig mustered an xG of 0.0 at halftime. Wow.
To begin the second half, Gotze had an excellent chance on goal in the 59th minute, but a big Gulacsi save kept Leipzig somewhat alive. Konrad Laimer joined the block party with his effort to stop another Kamada shot a few moments later.
Tuta, who was already having a great game defensively, extended Frankfurt's advantage by tapping home Gotze’s shot in the 67th minute. Ansgar Knauff drew a penalty from Amadou Haidara's challenge, giving Rafael Borre an 84th minute goal to close out their 4-0 victory.
Eintracht earned their second straight win, while Leipzig now sit 11th in the table with their only victory coming against a disastrous Wolfsburg side last weekend. This scoreline definitely could’ve been even worse. Christopher Nkunku and Timo Werner were barely heard from all day and Mohamed Simakan was guilty of several defensive lapses.
If it wasn’t already, Tedesco’s seat is red hot. This abysmal start for the Red Bull club feels oddly similar to what resulted in Jesse Marsch's firing early last season.
