Stuttgart line up Hütter and Hoeneß as possible Matarazzo replacements

Germany's preeminent footballing publication reports that the administrators of the VfB Stuttgart front-office are currently discussing Adi Hütter and Sebastian Hoeneß as possible candidates to succeed current head-coach Pellegrino Matarazzo.
VfB sporting director Sven Mislintat recently remarked that the American trainer's job was not in peril after the latest league loss. Mislintat not enjoying the same kind of uncontested pull in the club's front office, however, means that he might be easily overruled if others deem Matarazzo's dismissal necessary.
Stuttgart Regina without a win through eight Bundesliga matchdays. The Swabians host 1. FC Union Berlin and VfL Bochum in the next two rounds of league action. Matarazzo has been in charge of the team since January 2020. In office for over 1,000 days, he is presently the Bundesliga's third longest serving head-coach behind Christian Streich and Urs Fischer.
