Ben Manga is likely to leave his role at Eintracht Frankfurt and become Watford's sporting director during the World Cup break, per Sky. The championship club have undergone numerous coaching changes in recent years and are currently without a director of sport.

Manga had previously been a scout with Hoffenheim and Stuttgart before becoming Frankfurt's chief scout in 2016. He was then named the director of professional football in spring 2021, but with the arrival of Markus Krösche, Manga is reportedly looking for more power.

He's responsible for many sensational signings including Evan Ndicka, Tuta, Luka Jovic and Randal Kolo Muani. Manga's contract at Eintracht expires in 2026.

Florian Plettenberg of Sky also reports that Timmo Hardung, the head of first team football at Frankfurt, could be his replacement.
