Sport Bild Report: Dortmund target Ghanaian attacker Kudus

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that Borussia Dortmund have selected Ghanaian attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus as a top transfer target.
As interim Ghanaian national team head-coach Otto Addo prepares to return to his role as Borussia Dortmund talent manager following his country's World Cup campaign, there are whispers in the German tabloid that the prominent German footballing figure might potentially be bringing one of his best national team players with him.

Addo's Black Stars recently won their first group stage match at the World Cup Finals since 2010 with a 3-2 win over South Korea in the second fixture. "Man-of-the-match" honors went to one other than brace scorer Mohammed Kudus of Ajax Amsterdam. The 22-year-old has since been linked with several high-profile clubs, including the likes of Liverpool F.C.

Germany's "Sport Bild" reports that BVB sporting director Sebastian Kehl has also been in contact with Kudus' agent about a potential transfer to the Bundesliga after the season. Addo's influence could presumably help. As interim trainer of the Ghanaian team, Addo relied upon Kudus in virtually all attacking positions.

Kudus has pumped up his estimated market value from €9 million to €15 million since transferring from Ajax from Danish side FC Nordsjælland in 2020. The Dutch champions are said to be looking for a minimum of €20 million for the Accra-native, something well within the range of the BVB budget.

Kudus has netted 10 goals and chipped in two assists in the current Eredivisie campaign. Though their time in Denmark did not overlap, Addo and Kudus share the common link of having worked at Nordsjælland. Addo was among those who helped form the Danish club's close association with Ghana's "Right to Dream Academy"; of which Kudus is a product of.
