Rolfes confirms Bravo's loan deal has been extended

Speaking to Germany's main sporting tabloid, Bayer 04 Leverkusen chief personnel executive Simon Rolfes has confirmed that an agreement has been reached to keep attacking prospect Iker Bravo Solanilla in Spain for another year.
After several months of proactive negotiations, Bayer 04 Leverkusen have ensured that the loan-spell of "problem child" Iker Bravo Solanilla has been extended for another year. This was confirmed by club sporting director Simon Rolfes while speaking to Germany's main sporting tabloid yesterday.

"It is correct that we have agreed with Real to extend the loan deal for another year," sports director Simon Rolfes confirmed to German tabloid "Sport Bild".

The tabloid reports that the renewed arrangement - which will keep the 18-year-old in the Spanish capital through the end of next season - retains the same conditions as the previous loan. The Spanish Royals can purchase the attacker for a €10 million base-transfer fee that may rise as high as €20 million if performance bonuses are met.

It cannot be confirmed at this time whether Bayer received a loan fee for the new deal. Bravo's German parent club received €300,000 as part of the previous arrangement. After six months spent playing with Real youths, the striker maintains an estimated market worth of €1 million in the latest transfermarkt listings.
