Olmo faces another long spell on the sidelines

Dani Olmo faces another lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his shoulder against FC Köln, RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose has confirmed.
After recently returning from a spell on the sidelines, Dani Olmo suffered a new injury setback in RB Leipzig's 6-0 win over FC Köln on Saturday evening, this time injuring his shoulder.

Speaking to Kicker after the game, Leipzig coach Marco Rose said he expects the Spaniard to be out for a while.

"It doesn't look too good," revealed Rose.

"He damaged something in his shoulder and in on his way to hospital now. We're definitely looking at a medium to long-term absence.

"It's hard to take. We haven't had him for six weeks now. He's so important to us as a player and as a person. It would have been fantastic to have him for the next few crucial weeks. I'm super sad," said Rose.
