Hoffenheim boss Alexander Rosen claims Joelinton, who has recently been linked with Newcastle, has attracted interested from 'a dozen of clubs'.

According to Bild, Hoffenheim turned down offers from a few clubs in January, but Rosen claims there are even more suitors for the 22-year-old.

"To be honest, it's not about one or five clubs. There are a dozen of clubs interested in him," Rosen said in an interview with Bild.

"We have developed great strength to be able to say no - which we have proven a number of times in the past."

"It's about knowing your place in the food chain. There are fewer clubs that are above us compared to three, four or five years ago. But at a certain point, things are unstoppable," Rosen explained.

According to reports, Newcastle are ready to pay €60 million for Joelinton who has scored 10 goals in 29 appearances this season.
