After being sent off last weekend, Hoffenheim's John Anthony Brooks and Union Berlin's Andras Schäfer will not be able to play again until April.

This was confirmed on Tuesday, when the German Football Association handed each of them a two-match suspension.

Brooks, who was sent off in Hoffenheim's 3-1 loss to Eintracht Frankfurt, will miss the games against Stuttgart and Leverkusen.

Schäfer, who was shown a straight red card against Stuttgart, will be unavailable against Werder Bremen and Eintracht Frankfurt.
