Xabi Alonso is said to have attracted interest from his former clubs Bayern Munich and Liveprool, who are both looking to appoint a new coach from the summer.

However, Bayer Leverkusen CEO Fernando Carro sees no indication that the Spaniard will move on.

"He has a contract until 2026 and we are fully planning for next season with him," Carro told Marca.

"Nothing makes us think that he won't stay with us," added the Leverkusen boss, who believes Xabi is currently the best coach in the world.

"As a coach, he is the number one in the world at the moment," he said.
