Emre Can: Leaving Bayern was the best decision for me and my career
Emre Can has reflected upon his decision to leave Bayern München as a young player.

Juventus star Emre Can believes he made the right decision when he chose to leave Bayern München at a young age.
After Can came through the youth ranks at the Bavarian club, he opted for a move to Bayer Leverkusen in 2013, because he wanted more first-team action.
"I still had a contract and the club wanted me to stay, but I did not really see the opportunity to play a lot back then," Can told DAZN and Goal.
"For me as a young player it was important to be on the pitch as often as possible. Leverkusen gave me this opportunity.
"Looking back, my decision to leave Bayern was the best decision for me and my career," he said.
Can played just one season at Leverkusen before joining Liverpool in 2014. He stayed there until 2018 when he signed for Juventus.
