Borussia Dortmund confirm new shirt number for Jobe Bellingham

When Borussia Dortmund kick off the 2025/26 season, new signing Jobe Bellingham will be wearing the number 7 on his back.

After donning the 77 shirt at the Club World Cup, the English midfielder has now been assigned the No. 7 shirt heading into the new season, BVB confirmed on Thursday.

The number was previously worn by Giovanni Reyna, who has now been given the No. 21 shirt instead. The US international is unlikely to remain with BVB, though.

Over the years, the No. 7 shirt has been worn by several notable Dortmund players, including Jadon Sancho, Ousmane Dembélé, Steffen Freund, Andreas Möller, Thomas Helmer and Michael Zorc.
