Report: Frankfurt rejected €40 million Inter bid for Filip Kostic

Apparently, Eintracht Frankfurt rejected a €40 million bid for Filip Kostic from Inter.
Eintracht Frankfurt turned down a €40 million offer from Inter for Filip Kostic during the transfer window, according to Sport Bild.

At the beginning of the transfer window, Frankfurt and Kostic agreed that he wouldn't be going anywhere - this time around, at least.

When asked about his future, Kostic told Sport Bild:

"If any clubs want me, they'll come by themselves. I have a good agent."

At the moment, though, Kostic is happy at Commerzbank-Arena, playing at the left wing-back position in Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter's 3-4-1-2 system which suits him very well.

"It's the perfect system for me. I like to play in a wide position, close to the line. I need the space. And I can decide for myself whether I want to venture forward or stay back," Kostic told Sport Bild.

"Last season was outstanding, and I'd like to do even better this year," he said.

Kostic has scored four goals and made three assists in nine appearances this season until now.
