Philippe Coutinho says fellow Portuguese speaker Thiago Alcantara has helped him adapt to life in Munich following his move to Bayern on loan from FC Barcelona.

"I feel better from day to day. I'm very happy," Coutinho said in an interview with Sky.

"Thiago speaks Portuguese and helped me a lot in the first few days, especially in terms of communication. German is really difficult! But I've set myself the goal of learning a little. A few employees also speak Portuguese which makes it easier for me," the Brazilian international added.

Coutinho has made three appearances for Bayern so far.
