During the summer, the 19-year-old Brazilian striker Matheus Cunha has joined RB Leipzig from Swiss side FC Sion.

Cunha says that after his move was in place, he was congratulated by no other than Brazilian legend Ronaldinho - his biggest idol - whom he already met up with in April.

"We met in April after my agent brought us together. I will never forget that moment. Ronaldinho is my biggest idol. After my transfer, he told me: 'Congratulations, you're at a big club now'. That made me proud," Cunha told Bild.

The 19-year-old made his Bundesliga debut in RB Leipzig's 4-1 defeat against Borussia Dortmund last Sunday - a "very special" feeling although the result wasn't what 'Die Roten Bullen' were hoping for.

"I have always dreamed of playing in such a big league. The result wasn't good for us, but there were many good things in our performance," Cunha said.

Last season, Matheus Cunha made 32 appearances for FC Sion with 10 goals and eight assists to his name.
