Germany's Sport Bild reports that Eintracht Frankfurt supervisory board chairmen Philip Holzer and SGE sporting CEO Fredi Bobic are nearing completion of a "clean separation" that will enable the 49-year-old to depart for Hertha BSC.

An announcement is said to be coming at the end of the week, or, at the very least, by the conclusion of the next Bundesliga matchday.

The Bundesrepublik's main sporting tabloid currently cites insider sources to claim that that the long-awaited administrative move that will see Fredi Bobic take over the sporting director role at Hertha BSC nears completion. Confirmation is awaited in a few short days.

After Holzer formally declined to release Bobic from his contract approximately one month ago, protracted negotiations ultimately resulting in a hefty transfer fee were expected. Sport Bild reports that the initial figure of €5 million initially stalled talks, but is no longer being adhered to.

Amid reports of continuous dialogue, the newspaper says that all parties have agreed to a "constructive result" and a "clean break". An official statement may be delayed, however, as the SGE will ostensibly wish to introduce their new sporting director simultaneously.

The Bild-Zeitung itself reported last week that AC Milian Hendrik Almstadt was lined up as the most likely replacement candidate.
