Aleksandar Pavlovic has returned to light strength training, according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.

Having battled with glandular fever in the past few weeks, the midfielder is working towards a comeback.

The 20-year-old is being closely monitored by Bayern Munich’s medical staff to avoid any potential risks.

Pavlovic has stated that he feels good and has his desires set on a return to first-team action before the end of the season.

The German also hopes to feature at the FIFA Club World Cup which commences in the USA in June.
