According to information obtained by BILD, a shift in the power dynamics could take place at TSG Hoffenheim over this weekend.

The potential dismissal of managing director Andreas Schicker is to be discussed at the shareholders' meeting next Monday.

The successful managing director of sport at the Kraichgau club is said to be accused of a data protection breach.

According to the report, this is being viewed internally as a “fabricated accusation intended to force Schicker out of the management.”

Currently, Schicker is the last figure in the management after the dispute between agent Roger Wittmann and patron Dietmar Hopp.

While the plan is to merely demote Schicker to sporting director, it is highly questionable whether the official will be satisfied with that.

Since Schicker is also closely connected to coach Christian Ilzer, the Austrian's departure could have further repercussions.
