Both SPORT1 and BILD are reporting that Max Eberl's standing within Bayern Munich has improved over the course of the transfer window.

The supervisory board sees that he is diligent, working hard and making an effort - largely thanks to the support of Uli Hoeneß and Herbert Hainer.

Hoeneß has emphasized that Eberl's work deserves more credit publicly, while long-term supporter Hainer has given him credit for the signings of Kompany, Olise, Bischof and Tah.

Eberl, Dreesen and Freund have been working closely together and even sometimes holding transfer meetings and video conferences 3 times a day.

As Bayern Munich's board member for sport, Eberl is always under scrutiny, but at least the critical voices have become quieter recently.

Their team work has been considered a success. Eberl can now be more relaxed about his future and could even emerge from the current transfer window in a stronger position.
