Several clubs are reportedly in the race for the signing of Jonas Kersken from Arminia Bielefeld. The 25-year-old Düsseldorf-native had a strong campaign to keep his club in 2. Bundesliga after their promotion.
Since he has a contract that runs until 2028, Bielefeld are expecting a transfer sum in the seven-figure range. Union SG are currently leading the race as they look to replace Kjell Scherpen, who is linked with several Premier League clubs.
Danish giants FC Copenhagen are also showing interest, while there is at least one Premier League club in the race, according to reports. Kersken joined Bielefeld from the second team of Borussia Mönchengladbach in 2022.
