Bayern Munich have been handed an injury boost ahead of their Champions League opener against Bodø/Glimt on Thursday.

Serge Gnabry, who has been sidelined since suffering an adductor injury in April, has returned to full team training ahead of the game and took part in all of Monday’s exercises.

As a result, the 31-year-old could return to the squad for Thursday’s clash with the Norwegian side, according to Bild.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany is expected to provide an update on the Germany international’s availability at his pre-match press conference.
