Sport BILD journalist Felix Arnold is questioning whether Bilal El Khannouss working a route for himself to leave VfB Stuttgart early?

Although it was confirmed by the club that the Moroccan would be staying permanently in Stuttgart, external interest could change that.

The attacking midfielder has been involved in a goal in the last four competitive matches and has caught the eye of several clubs.

According to Transfermarkt.com, the likes of Newcastle United, Leeds United, Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace are all in pursuit.

VfB Stuttgart, however, remains unfazed by the interest from the Premier League given he is contracted until 2030 with no release clause.

So far this Bundesliga season, El Khannouss has made 23 appearances and delivered 4 goals alongside 5 assists.
