Bayer Leverkusen coach Kasper Hjulmand has confirmed that Wednesday’s 1-0 Champions League win over Benfica has left him with no new injury concerns.

Apart from long-term absentees Ezequiel Fernandez, Exequiel Palacios, Axel Tape, Nathan Tella and Lucas Vazquez, Hjulmand expects to have a full squad at his disposal for Saturday’s Bundesliga clash with 1. FC Heidenheim.

“I don’t believe we have any (new) injured players,” Hjulmand said at Friday’s press conference when asked about his squad.

"They’ll be in today, and I think everyone is ready to play.”

Sitting fifth in the Bundesliga, Leverkusen will be looking to bounce back domestically after last week’s 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

“We want to end this run of seven matches in three weeks with a win. After three away games, we are looking forward to playing at home again,” Hjulmand said.
