Amid their training session in preparation for their clash with TSG Hoffenheim next weekend, two key faces were missing for RB Leipzig.

The club confirmed that Castello Lukeba sustained a shoulder injury in a challenge during the match against VfB Stuttgart.

As a result the French central defender trained individually on Tuesday afternoon, and Leipzig will monitor his progress day by day.

Meanwhile, Christoph Baumgartner also partook in individual training on Tuesday due to workload management.

While the Austrian's situation is more precautionary, Lukeba could be in a race to be fit for their trip to Sinsheim on Saturday.
