Report: Bayern defender poised for move to Switzerland

Lars Lukas Mai will reportedly leave Bayern München permanently to join FC Lugano.

Bayern München centre-back Lars Lukas Mai is set to join Swiss side FC Lugano, according to Bild.

The 22-year-old defender's transfer to Switzerland is expected to be completed in the near future.

Mai spent last season on loan at Werder Bremen, where he struggled to nail down a starting berth.

The former German youth international has one year left on his contract with Bayern, having made just two appearances for the club's senior team.
