SC Wiener Viktoria have announced that former Frankfurt defender Martin Hinteregger has surprisingly become the president of their club.

The club is determined to become a serious professional team and believe they can grow with Hinteregger's help. The Austrian was convinced to take the position by a supporter of Wiener Viktoria, comedian Christopher Seiler.
Hinteregger stated that, "I didn't think this would move so fast. After calling Seiler, I knew that something special could arise here. I am super happy that I can participate."
Toni Polster, the Austrian national team's all-time leading goalscorer, coaches the club as well. It looks like Hinteregger will continue playing at home for Sirnitz, as he begins this new venture.
