Tuchel directs criticism at players after shock loss to Werder
Thomas Tuchel was left stunned by his Bayern Munich side's shock loss to Werder Bremen on Sunday, saying the players should be asked why they weren't able to carry their performances on the training pitch into the game.

Asked by DAZN how the defeat came about, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel didn't hold back in his criticism of his team,
"You have to ask the players. We played inconsistently, it was a deserved defeat," said Tuchel, who insisted that he was happy with the level shown in training leading up to the game.
"I have enough experience to judge whether training is at the level we want it to be. That has been the case for a few weeks now. The players have been great in training. But when you play for Bayern, you have to be great on Monday and Tuesday, but even more so on Sunday. We weren't up to it today. We have to find a solution."
With Wednesday's postponed match against Union Berlin in hand, Bayern are now seven points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who beat RB Leipzig 3-2 on Saturday.
"We played as if we had a 10-point lead and a Champions League game on Tuesday. But with Leverkusen's results, we have to show a different face," Tuchel fumed.
"We wanted to start very aggressively and make a statement right away, but we didn't manage that at any stage. We shouldn't blame the team, but we have to find solutions, I have to find solutions. That's not our ambition."
