The father of Bayern Munich talent Cassiano Kiala's flew to London on Friday for discussions with Chelsea and Manchester City.

Kiala's agent, Jorge Mendes, was also in Munich last week to meet both the player and his family, according to the Daily Mirror.

Mendes' world-renowned agency Gestifute looks poised to handle Kiala's professional affairs moving forwards, alongside his relatives.

Man City in particular, are said to be strongly interested, though Brexit regulations make it difficult for the Citizens to sign the 16-year-old.

Premier League clubs are now prohibited from signing foreign talents until they have reached the age of 18.

With that rule established, Manchester City's talks appear to be centred around building a relationship with the player for the future.

Bayern want to keep Kiala at all costs and the club has huge confidence the defender will become a first-team regular under Kompany.

Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that the Bavarians are in long-term discussions with the youngster to prevent English clubs from swooping.
