Werder Bremen star Maximilian Eggestein has revealed he has made a decision on his future amid interest from Borussia Dortmund.

"I've made a decision which will be announced soon. There are just one or two details left to clarify," Eggestein, whose contract runs until 2020, told reporters at a press conference today.

Eggestein didn't want to elaborate, but the midfielder is expected to sign a new deal with Werder Bremen, according to Bild.

Meanwhile, his brother Johannes Eggestein, whose contract is due to run out at the end of the season, is understood to be ready to put pen to paper on a new deal with Werder as well.

Maximilian Eggestein, 22, was recently called up to the German national team for the first time.
