Schalke 04 are without a win in 30 Bundesliga games following a 3-0 defeat to Hertha BSC at the Olympiastadion in Berlin on Saturday.

In Christian Gross' first game as Schalke coach, the away side fell behind after 36 minutes as Matteo Guendouzi curled the ball past Ralf Fährmann.

Jhon Cordoba made it 2-0 in the beginning of the second half after he was teed up by Vladimir Darida.

With 10 minutes left to play, Darida produced his second assist of the evening as his lofted pass found second-half substitute Krzystof Piatek, who clinically placed the ball into the back of the net.

The result means Schalke remain bottom of the Bundesliga with just four points after 14 games while Hertha climb to 12th.
