Report: Nico Williams unlikely to join Bayern Munich

It appears as if the Bavarians might be priced out of the 22-year-old talent who starred for Spain at the European Championships last year.

Nico Williams is a name that has swirled around Sabener Strasse in recent months, but it appears his future likes elsewhere.

The Spanish winger from Athletic Bilbao was high on the Bavarian giants’ wish list after a strong performance at EURO 2024.

With 9 goals and 7 assists in La Liga this campaign, even the Spanish media were linking him with a transfer to Bayern.

However, BILD is reporting that Arsenal are currently leading the race for the talented 22-year-old.

With a release clause believed to be around €60-80million, Die Rekordmeister might be less inclined to act given the fee.

In addition to Arsenal, fellow Premier League side Manchester United and French giants Paris Saint-Germain are monitoring Williams closely.
