Leroy Sané has rejected Bayern Munich’s offer to extend his contract, which is set to expire this summer, according to Bild.

The two parties were reportedly close to an agreement on a new deal worth €10 million per year plus a potential €5 million in performance-related bonuses, before Sané had a change of heart and changed his agent.

After appointing Pini Zahavi as his new representative, Sané reportedly returned to the negotiating table with a revised proposal: a fixed annual salary of €12 million, along with a potential €3 million in performance-related bonuses.

So far, Bayern have been reluctant to meet these terms. If the club holds firm, a summer departure for Sané appears increasingly likely.
