VfL Wolfsburg are showing interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Salih Özcan, according to reports from Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung, Aller-Zeitung and Kicker.

If there is a satisfactory offer for all parties, Özcan would be allowed to leave. The 26-year-old Turkish midfielder hasn't been in the squad for Dortmund's first two competitive games this season.

Die Wölfe don't have much time left, however, with the transfer window closing on Friday. Montpellier's Joris Chotard is said to be an alternative.

Hannover 96 are reportedly also keen on Özcan, but it's highly doubtful that the 2. Bundesliga club can meet the midfielder's demands.
