After reports emerged on Thursday that FC Barcelona have agreed personal terms with Karim Adeyemi, the Catalan giants have reportedly submitted an opening offer for the Borussia Dortmund forward.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s first bid of €20 million was rejected by the Black and Yellows.

With Adeyemi's contract expiring next year, Dortmund are not in the strongest negotiating position and are unlikely to secure the €40 million fee that was previously touted.

Spanish media reports suggest that the two clubs could eventually meet somewhere in the middle, with a fee of around €30 million being a possible compromise.

There has also been speculation that Barcelona players, including Roony Bardghji (20, winger), Marc Casadó (22, central midfielder) and Héctor Fort (19, full-back), could be included as part of the deal.
