The 27-year-old giant striker has been through a terrible time with injuries since making the move to Molineux from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2022.

A permanent move is deemed unlikely due to his injury problems, while the option of staying at the club to compete with Jorgen Strand Larsen has not been ruled out entirely.

The Austrian forward missed the 2024/25 campaign entirely after a serious knee injury sustained when on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt that saw him miss 14 months of football in total.

Kalajdzic scored 24 goals in 60 matches for Stuttgart between 2019 and 2022, prompting Wolves to purchase the forward as a replacement for the injured Raul Jimenez.
