BVB line up potential Schlotterbeck replacement - BILD

Even though Borussia Dortmund are set to hold talks with Nico Schlotterbeck regarding a new contract, the club is already preparing for the worst case scenario.
As BILD reports, the Black and Yellows have developed interest in Chelsea's Axel Disasi who is completely excluded from the Blues and is not allowed to eat or train with the team.
Although the London club paid €45million for the French defender in 2023, he is now likely to be available for significantly less due to his lack of prospects at the club.
His €5million salary should also be manageable for BVB, and Disasi is no stranger to coach Niko Kovač who helped him break through during his time at AS Monaco.
Now, a reunion could happen, especially if Schlotterbeck or Niklas Süle - the latter whose contract is expiring next summer - leave the club.
