Manuel Neuer's agent Thomas Kroth was at Bayern's offices at Säbener Straße today for talks over the goalkeeper's future.

According to popular German tabloid BILD, Neuer has now clearly indicated to Bayern that he wants to continue next season.

Therefore, Kroth has come to Munich to begin concrete negotiations with the Bavarians, with financial details still needing to be clarified.

With an estimated annual salary of around €20million, Neuer is one of the highest earners at the recently crowned Bundesliga champions.

Given the planned reduction in his playing time next season in favour of Jonas Urbig, a salary cut would normally be expected.

However, Neuer's importance as a leader and his enormous contributions to the club argue in favor of keeping his salary unchanged.

It is now up to Neuer's agent, Kroth, and Bayern bosses to find a solution regarding his salary if they are to continue their relationship.

BILD senses if an agreement over the salary is reached, the 40-year-old shot-stopper will sign a new one-year deal until 2027.
