There's positive news on the injury recovery front for Bayern Munich – both Lennart Karl and Tom Bischof, are inching their way closer to re-joining the first team.

Both midfield players participated in segments of team training today, Thursday, April 30, sending a clear signal regarding their return to the squad.

Following their muscle tears, Karl and Bischof had recently been working intensively on their comebacks. Just a few days ago, both had been training individually at Säbener Straße.

Although the young German duo will remain unavailable for this Saturday's Bundesliga visit of 1.FC Heidenheim, at best they could be back to feature next Wednesday against PSG.

Regardless, it is still unclear when both will be fully fit again, however their progress towards fitness gives hope for their participation in the final stretch of the season.
