Canada Soccer has yet to decide on whether Alphonso Davies will be called up for March's international games with Iceland and Tunisia.

The full-back – not long back from injury – picked up a knock during Bayern Munich's 3-0 win over Werder Bremen on 14 February.

With a torn muscle fibre expected to be the problem, the Canadian FA released the following statement regarding the 25-year-old:

"Our Men’s National Team’s medical staff continues to be in close communication with FC Bayern München’s medical staff concerning Alphonso Davies.

"A determination on his availability for the upcoming March international window has not yet been made. In the coming weeks, we will announce the full team roster”

It's worth noting tensions are already high between both parties after Bayern threatened to sue Canada Soccer in March of 2025

Davies is widely regarded as one of Les Rouges key players having earned 58 caps while providing 15 goals and 18 assists to date.
