After just two years at Bayern Munich, Minjae Kim could be heading for the exit door and the club’s management are seemingly already looking at possible replacements for the centre-back.

RB Leipzig’s Castello Lukeba has recently been touted as an option, and now Chelsea’s Renato Veiga is being mentioned by both Bild and The Athletic.

According to Bild, it would take an offer of around €35 million to sign the 21-year-old. Chelsea are aware of Bayern’s interest, but talks between the clubs have yet to begin.

Bayern’s scouts have reportedly been monitoring Veiga for several weeks. The youngster is also capable of playing as a left-back or defensive midfielder.

The former Sporting CP player spent the second half of last season on loan at Juventus, where he established himself as a regular starter.

Veiga is a Portugal international and has been capped five times at senior level.
