Confirmed: Leverkusen sell Bravo to Udinese with reported 50 percent re-sale clause

Bayer 04 Leverkusen striker Iker Bravo's transfer to Udinese Calcio has been officially confirmed.

The long rumored move of 19-year-old Spanish center forward Iker Bravo from Bayer 04 Leverkusen to Udinese Calcio has now been made official. The Serie A side unveiled Bravo as a new signing on Wednesday afternoon. Leverkusen have sold the youngster off permanently, securing a transfer fee in the low six-figure-range. There is nevertheless a clause that could potentially allow die Werkself to cash-in.

Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports that - in a deal reminiscent of Bayern's sale of Joshua Zirkzee to Bologna - Germany's red company team have hedged their bets with a resell clause that will accord them 50 percent of future transfer revenue should Bravo catch on and increase his market worth. Germany's Kicker Magazine confirms this report.
